NEXT AUDITION WILL BE NOVEMBER 16TH 2008, 1pm, AT EV-LEEN'S DANCE STUDIO. Please come prepared with a 1 minute piece of any style that best showcases your abilities, and the music for your piece (CD format is preferred). We are auditioning any interested dancers, but we are specifically in need of male dancers with some classical or dance studio experience - ages 17-25. Tell a friend! You will learn to appreciate your body and celebrate womanhood while moving to exotic music in a clean and spacious room. You can do this activity regardless of your figure type. This complements the way a normal body moves, it is unlike Ballet where you have to work on body alignment and execute difficult techniques and balance. You will gain a toned body and a firmer abdomen. Even though this is a non impact activity you still feel as if your exercising, and after the cool down you'll go home rejuvenated and yet relaxed. The addition of veil work will utilitize upper body work (i.e. the upper back and arms) and will continue to work out the core muscles with isolation movements in a low impact workout. For the veil, a colorful georgette/chiffon material will enhance your movements. This material can be purchased at any fabric store. For a more reasonable price try F&M Fabrics 2954 Niles St. (Hillcrest Shopping Center). Material dimensions: 42"-45" x 3 yards Also available upon request: Quincinera private lessons for individuals or groups. Some of our clients chose a traditional "Waltz", but we have noticed that many of our clients are opting to surprise Quincinera guests with a Hip-Hop or other trendy dance style.
